My Therapeutic Approach
Therapy should be a sacred space in which you feel seen and supported. Through empathic listening and collaboration, I provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment in order to meet you where you are. My clients often describe me as warm and direct. Using a bit of humor, I set my clients at ease as we begin to build trust in our therapeutic relationship.
My approach is significantly informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and attachment science. We will spend time exploring the pain points in your life and how those may be connected to experiences and relationships in your past. As I seek to better understand your story, we will focus on emotion as the agent of change and how emotion shows up in your body. Together we will work towards the growth and healing you desire.
